Photography

One of my other loves besides trail running is photography. I don’t do it as often as I would like anymore and I sure do miss it. It’s been nice setting things up in my office recently because I’ve got things geared for photography and videography again. What is really sweet is how technology has advanced and I can almost fully edit a photo straight from my iPad. In fact, the photo here was fully done on my iPad. Honestly, there wasn’t much to do. This place is amazing.

The photo was taken in Upper Antelope Canyon in Page, Arizona. I’m not sure if people will ever be allowed back in this place again. Hopefully that is not the case. It is truly the most beautiful place I have ever been. For the longest time the Grand Canyon was the most breathtaking place but once I came here there was no question. It is visually stunning. I can’t even begin to describe it in words.

I’ve been there a couple times now and am so thankful for that. I was supposed to be there again in May 2020 but obviously the world fell apart and that got canceled. Hopefully things go back to normal at some point and I can visit again. Eventually I’d love to show my kids the place. Until then I can revisit the place in my mind through photos.

I think I will be pumping out more photos from my archives more often now. I have thousands that I have never touched. On these days off from running its nice to work on something else I love.
