Spicy Workout
A bit toasty today again. Somewhere around 100°F when I went out for the workout. It was another one of those 20x2 or 2x20….not sure I get confused. I had to run 20 minutes hard for two stints. A solid 20 minutes in 100° heat is rough. I wasn’t as fast as I normally go but it was a solid effort.
I’m looking forward to tomorrows long run. I need to try and get out early to beat the heat. Water rationing has been a struggle on these longer runs so I may go vest plus belt tomorrow to make sure I bring enough. The hard part about that is all of the extra weight in the beginning. Maybe subconsciously that is why I drink it so fast……to get rid of the weight. Well, time to start getting stuff ready for the morning.
