Day Off Feast
Man I love sushi. It’s been 3 months since I’ve had some. I used to go about once a week or so before the world started ending. Just recently we’ve started to order food a bit more. We haven’t actually gone out to eat…..I think that’s a bit premature still and also backed by the amount of new cases popping up here in the States. However, I do feel comfortable picking up food from a restaurant while social distancing and wearing a mask. Thankfully, most people up here respect others and wear their masks.
Work was a bit quiet today with the holiday around the corner so I actually got to finish up at a normal time. I was able to get about an hours worth of reading in which was really nice. I am digging Ultra Marathon Man. I read slow so I’m only about 30% in or so but its been a really fun read. I especially love when books take place around areas I have lived and reference them because I can relate. Another good one was the Steve Jobs biography by Walter Isaacson. A lot of really cool Bay Area references. I have a feeling I will be done with the book by the end of the weekend and will have to find another. I think Born to Run will be next. Those seem to be the two most popular ultra running books that people talk about…they must be good, right?
