Difference in a day
It always blows me away how some days you have it and some days you don’t. The weird part is that I never quite know what to expect. On a day like today I would have expected to feel tired and sluggish. The past two days were a struggle. Why would today be any easier? Especially since I have been up since 3:30 AM and had about 6 hours in a car today. It makes no sense?
I’ll take it though. I like feeling good on runs. Tonight I felt good. The workout was nice. Another one like I did a couple days ago. 15 minute warm up, 2 x 20 min tempo with 10 minute slow in between then a 15 minute cool down. I had to add on about a half mile loop because I knew I was going faster than I had on Tuesday.
I have to trust the process and know that I will have good days and bad. As long as I stay consistent I will succeed.
