One Good Turn Deserves Another

Day off after yesterday’s 24 miler. Got a good night sleep and feel good today. Better than I do after most long runs. Was able to sleep until 730 this morning because the kids were up so late last night….nice!

Had a productive day around the house. It’s been that way lately and I like it. Today I finished up getting the lights in the back yard set up which look awesome. Then I was able to get all of the rust off the paint on the back of the Chevelle. That thing is a work in progress but I love the process. The hardware store didn’t have any clear coat so I had to order some. I think that will end up being next weekends project. I worked on getting some wireless outlets setup and then decided it was time to read.

I finished up Ultramarathon Man. Super amazing book. That dude, Dean Karnazes, is a mad man. The book is super inspiring and I highly recommend it even if you aren’t into running. There are some good life lessons in there. I makes me want to run the Western States Endurance Race even more now also. It’s always been the North Star goal in running since I heard about it but the book made me want to do it even more. It scared me more too but that is part of the desire. Anyway, good book read it. That is all.
